Univera is seeking a highly motivated individual for Associate Compliance Manager position. In this role the Associate Compliance Manager is responsible for all Associate (distributor) compliance matters for Univera. Coordinates interdepartmental resolutions and processes in regards to Associate activity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. •Explain and facilitate Associate compliance with Univera Policies and Procedures. •Conducts investigations to prevent and resolve violations of Policies. •Reviews, suggests and writes new Policies as needed. •Reports issues and problems with suggested resolutions to the General Counsel. •Reviews Univera Associate promotional material for compliance with Federal regulations and Company branding guidelines. •Reviews internal Univera promotional material and websites for compliance with Federal regulations. •Maintains Compliance log and files •Provides consultation and training to Customer Care on Policies and Procedures. •Supervises Compliance Specialist on managing difficult Associate issues and personally handles escalations as needed. •Monitors Internet for IP violations. •Advises General Counsel of Associate refusal to comply with Policies and sensitive compliance situations. •Provides assistance to General Counsel on specific matters, particularly high profile matters concerning execution and interpretation of Univera policy.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE •5+ years multi-level marketing distributor compliance experience •Customer service experience highly preferred •Familiarity with FTC, FDA, and a variety of the Company’s concepts, practices, and procedures, including commissions structures •Ability to deal with occasional difficult distributor personalities •Ability to exhibit discretion and diplomacy •Essential ability to keep corporate information and other matters confidential •Ability to confidently and creatively handle complex matters focusing on a positive resolution following set policies •Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong desire to actively engage in new learning and professional growth •Excellent writing, organizational, critical thinking and problem solving skills required •Moderate to advanced internet research and investigative skills •Moderate to advanced skills with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel •Basic math skills, ability to identify trends, analyze data and discern facts •Must be a multi-tasking self-starter who can operate with little day-to-day supervision
